Been offered a rubbish price from the dealer. So has anyone had any luck selling there 6r GTI privately? and what sort of price should i be selling this at?

Mine was similar spec to that but in red.

As much as it pains me to say it and for you to hear it...if you get 12K (private) for it mate you've done well. I started mine at £13000 and it went for £11995. Mine only had 14000 miles on the clock too and was on the market for 4 months

Hopefully you get more for yours though...

Waiting to speak to the dealer on Monday morning, way less than £10000

As long as it can clear the finance i'll be happy!

Bloody dealers eh! They offered me 4.8k for my 2010' 59 Polo S last year when I bought my newen! I sold it for £6900 private!

Ouch. I used to drive the A720 between Edinburgh and Galashiels twice a week. Dundee to Galashiels and back on a Friday night and a Sunday night and never once seen a police car!

I'm unsure if I got booked yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I used to come up weekly from Manchester up until last year. This is the first time I've been for around a year and they've already shoved a load of vans on the bridges! I was doing a ton most of the way and used half a tank! Good going I say lol!
