DSG Noises? When parking...

Hi all, I took delivery of a new GTI a few weeks back and I'm finding the car to be noisy when parking up and going inbetween Reverse and Drive.

For example if I switch the car into Reverse, it makes quite an audible knocking noise when the car starts moving. And usually vice versa when going back into Drive. So it narrows it down to the switch between Drive and Reverse.

As someone who's never driven a DSG before it's new to me and I don't know if it's normal! Anyone have an idea?

Does the knock come when you touch the brakes?

The DSG do tend to rattle a bit with the clutch baskets.

Nothing to worry about, my GTI and Ibiza Cupra both did it.

My 2013 Polo GTI also makes the noises when I park and apply the brakes. I reported the issue to the VW dealer, but they could not fix it, hopefully it will be sorted when the time comes for brake pads to be changed.
