Central locking fault

Post by danmk5 »

Hi guys, I bought a 6n2 gti a few days ago and the central locking only works on the boot and the drivers door, what is the common fault for this? And how can I diagnose/ check what it is? I'm a Mitsubishi/Kia mechanic but vacuum locking is new to me so I have no idea :/ any help would be great.

Cheers, Dan

There'll be a leak In the hose somewhere

The fuel cap is a common place to it to leak

How can I access the pipe around the fuel cap? Is it behind the wing?
