Alarm help please!

i bought a gti 6n2 to put engine into my little 1.0, its crashed damaged but every time i put the battery in, the siren just goes on and on, does anyone know how to disable this? or where the alarm unit is so i can dis connect it? for now ive just unplugged the siren, just rather get rid of the main cause!

help would be much appreciated!

Assuming you've got the matching key for the ECU and alarm, have you tried pressing the unlock button on the fob as the alarm starts going off? I had to do this after a long period of the battery been disconnected.

alarm siren is under scuttle panel on drivers side. you can unplug without removing any parts if you are a dexterous

yeah ive unplugged the siren but i want to stop it happening, and battery has been out for a while yes, does anyone know where the unit is tho? so i can remove it fullly! and yes matching key
