Both of mine have been snapped off.
Does anyone know where replacements can be bought. VW does not carry this as a spare part other than as a complete boot lid replacement panel.
I have tried eBay and a general internet search without any luck.
Perhaps a part from another of the VAG family might be suitable.
Thank you
John

Re: Parcel shelf strap peg
You will need to be creative, when that happened on my wife's Polo, the part was still in the strap, so I drilled a hole through it and through the trim and fitted a screw, and if I remember correctly, also added glue where the two parts met. To date, many years later, that repair has held.

Thanks RUM4MO. Sadly the broken parts were not in the car when bought.
Re: Parcel shelf strap peg
I had the same problem when I bought my polo. In the end I spent £20 buying the complete bit of trim with the pegs on second hand and then swapping the whole thing. Only took about 30mins but very satisfying afterward!

One of mine was snapped off when I bought the car. I found it four months later in the spare wheel well and superglued it back on.
