I saw a 12.10.3 for 40€ and a 11.11.13 for 30€. Some people say that 11.11.13 is more stable but our car is very new.

I think I have the 11.11.3 and there is no labels for the central electric module but in the diy section someone has uploaded the images for the long code
Re: Polo Blue GT
I have 11.11.3 and it reads all 2013 models i have had it plugged into no problems. Cant say I've tried it on a blueGT.

Re: Polo Blue GT
A few days in, I've done several motorway journeys and I have no ACT showing on the info screen while cruising. (I have a manual)
Is this just a symptom of only doing 100 miles and will it start kicking in soon or could there be a problem? I had the 2 cylinder mode occur on the test drive so I know what to expect. I've read the manual and it just says it should show under certain circumstances....

Faye,
Are you on the right info display? I leave it on the fuel consumption as that is where it displays for me. If you leave it on range, speed, radio, etc it won't show.

Re: Polo Blue GT
I know this sounds daft but the ACT mode doesn't show up on all the displays. E.g put it on average consumption and it should pop up according to the conditions (usually on level ground or when you let off the throttle).Faye_Valentine wrote:A few days in, I've done several motorway journeys and I have no ACT showing on the info screen while cruising. I confess it took some angry button pressing as I thought mine was broken...! Hoping yours is the same and not a fault...
I've got mine booked in to have the laptop on the car for the locking. Anything else I should be asking them to enable whilst I'm in?
Re: Polo Blue GT
I have a DSG version. I recently had a manual version from the dealer for a few days and the difference is quite something.
Manual- Quieter in 2 cylinder mode by far! It is ever so slight.
Quieter brakes.
Good pull in 2 and 3rd gear.
DSG- 2 cylinder mode, flutter is a bit too audible for my liking. If you apply a light throttle you hear the rattle before it changes from 2 to 4.
However the engine has a completely different sound, the turbo sound esp. it runs so smooth not as raspy in general as the manual and the pull through all 7 gears is strong and well paced, and having the racing paddles for when i want to override and go manual is such fun and gives me better control as i keep both hands on the steering when i really pelt it on the roads. Kick down was something i had to learn about though! Also i don't miss my foot on the clutch in rush hour traffic.
Regarding the engine cover, can anyone confirm if this has this made any noticeable difference to cutting down the noise from the engine esp 2 cyclinder mode DSG? I am thinking it prob hasn't but anyway the engine does look tidier with it!

Re: Polo Blue GT
Thanks guys.... yeah I noticed it on the consumption screen driving home tonight, but I noticed that a slight hill or a tiny press of the accelerator turns it straight off! I might have been a bit too heavy on the right foot perhaps previously!
So car is absolutely fine. just me being a dunce! lol

I have really noticed that too on the way to work on roads I would have sworn was completely flat, just to find that some of them have a slight arc to them...Faye_Valentine wrote:Thanks guys.... yeah I noticed it on the consumption screen driving home tonight, but I noticed that a slight hill or a tiny press of the accelerator turns it straight off! Re: Polo Blue GT
congratulation Faye on finally getting it and more importantly enjoying it
if you stay at 70 on the motorway it quite happily cruises along in ACT mode, venture slightly above it reverts to all 4
