Rubber grommet/gasket around ignition lock 9n

Hi All,

The rubber grommet/gasket around my ignition lock has perished and also has a hole in when someone stabbed it blindly with the key. I want to replace it but I dont even know what the part is called or the part number (google is coming up dry).

Any idea?

Wow, thanks. Didn't expect such a quick reply. I suppose my next question is where can I get one. A quick look on the web only brings up German or (strangely) Russian websites.

Just take that part number down to your local vw dealer and they can order it up for you.
