I second the acrylic raised plates, no room for any error there. Demon plates served me well and were happy with a scanned copy of docs emailed to them. Took 2 days.benjamin wrote:
It's a risk as car owner you take. If you want a compromise, you can now get acrylic plates with raised lettering that look smart.
Also I went for the blue GB on the end of the plate as I understand it if you don't have this and want to drive in Europe then you will need an additional white oval GB sticker. I value my paintwork and the overall clean look of the car without any stickers.
