Idiot question - does putting a super bright bulb in make the fuses more likely to go pop?

Still have a stash of one lot given the pug wipers would pop all the time..

Will see if I can get one :)

And no. It's an led. It draws much less current in any case.

Is there any way to get the bury kit to play music through the cars sound system?

First mod's are arriving. I will post photos ones installed. Bonnet insulation + engine cover + oil cap + door sills + exhaust tips + light switch ring.

By the other had I think start-stop don't makes sense since the car at idle it's burning 0,8 l/h so with off I think for me it's 30€ a year or so. Any idea if I can disable it with Vagcom?

Finally, I think DSG in D mode is changing the gears too early; maybe 500 rpm more would be better and it don't have enough adaptation on how you drive. I suppose this will be nearly impossible to change. In S mode is too sporty for normal driving. I come for a MB and gear "intelligence" was MORE MORE better, if you press the accelerator quick It keep the rpm high without change gear, etc...

Regards.

I am running the following:

Alcar KFZ 7760 15x6 offset 38
Michelin Alpin A4 185/60R15 88 H XL AO

Went for the Michelins as wanted H rating and so far so good, ride is ok and i don't feel the sidewalls are flexing

Mytyres do these wheels and tyres as a package on the rim, I ordered from Oponeo (as Mytres took an age to confirm who made their wheels which are KFZs and i wanted a spare steel rim), Openeo come separately but I have a friend who is a tyre fitter and good value and i will be honest seem to arrive quicker.

Also worth looking at Tyremen.co.uk as i just ordered some winter tyres for the wife and were great value and arrived next day

Prices now are a both 12% more then when i ordered

well the Blue GT has now done 9,500 miles so had its first service today, no issues, when i took my alloys off the VW centres were a bit poor on the clip front, just swapped them and gave me the originals back as they said dealing with VW was a PITA given they had not removed them etc

when i went to collect it noticed there was another more door Blue Silk at Ridgeway Wantage would be interesting if anyone off here

still waiting for WRC R diffuser

Mine went in for the auto door locking at the weekend, I'm hoping someone can clarify if it's now set up right..
Basically when I'm on my own I get out and open the drivers door, i can't open the doors/boot until I use the remote to unlock them. Every other car i've owned unlocks all the doors/boot when you open the drivers door.

They also switched the unlock on the remote to one single one to open all doors at my request, as i'm not in dark dodgy car parks at night on my own..

The Mk 5 Golf is the same way. You can't open other than the door you exit the vehicle through. I personally think that the autolock is one of the worst inventions ever in the history if the Automobile.

It was useful on every other car we've owned and also husband's BMW now. I guess I expected this to work the same way, i.e. open the drivers door, and then from outside the car you can open every other door. I'll see how long it is before it gets on my nerves...
