Yeah i could have bought a gti...but have you seen a TDI like this with near gti performance (150ps remapped) ? ...plus anything between 50-70mpg..and £20 a year road tax as well as cheap as chips insurance (grp 3)...AJ_7 wrote:For the money you have spent on all the bits and bats, could you not have just bought a GTi?
Mine are bbs RC324's.....17 inch 7.5j ET35ben4012 wrote:BBS RC, iirc RC336 is the code for the 18x7.5 anniversary wheels. There are other widths and diameters in 5x100 and other fitments exist as well.
Well...search ebay everyday (2-3 times a day) for months!!!!! lolMattyJupatti wrote:Looks mint! where di you manage to find the kit and interior?!
Agreed, all sounds very good. But I think long term it would have been a lot more cost effective to buy a GTi. Instead you've ended up with a SE/R-Line/GTi. Because of this you're also going to suffer crazy depreciation!greypolo9n3 wrote:Yeah i could have bought a gti...but have you seen a TDI like this with near gti performance (150ps remapped) ? ...plus anything between 50-70mpg..and £20 a year road tax as well as cheap as chips insurance (grp 3)...AJ_7 wrote:For the money you have spent on all the bits and bats, could you not have just bought a GTi?

Those of you who know your wheels will know how hard it is to find these for sale

If you see it more of a hobby and cost effectiveness is not even considered then disregard the above
