Hi guys I am going to pick up a gti next week. The rear gearbox mount has gone so need to source another. Looking on the net but just wondered what it looks like so I make sure I get the right one!!

I don't think I've got a pic of it.
It's about 20cm long, half of it is just plain metal with an eye end in it to mount to the 'box and the other end is a cylindrical bush a bit smaller than say a can of coke. The bush end has 3 bolts that mount up through it into the floor pan of the car. The whole thing is mounted just left of centre. You may need to rock the whole engine/box assemble to free it off and fit it back on.
