Front passenger door handle jamming....

Just recently my I pulled the passenger front door open as usual and the handle jammed out. I pushed it a wee bit and it sprung back in, but is jamming every time now. If you forget to push it back in the door doesn't latch so you need to get back out or roll the window down and push it in.

Has anybody has this problem and or know how I can sort it?

The car is a 59 plate 1.4 SEL 5 door in case it makes a difference!

Hi mate

I have a SEL as well, which had the exact same problem on the front passenger side door.
Had Volkswagen repair the handle under warranty, they changed the door cable which solve the problem.

Is there a reference page anywhere with a schematic or part numbers for the Polos so I can look up the part no?

Anybody know if this can be adjusted or is it a simple replacement? Any links to how to remove the door cards?
