Powder coat or paint
Hi I'm just wondering what would be better for my wheels I have boavistas and although it maybe outdated I want black rims to match my windows roof and mirrors on my white tdi.

I would say paint with a good few coats of lacquer. Tends to last longer and the colour choices are broader.
I've had various sets of wheels powder coated and it's never lasted aswell as painted wheels

I agree about colour choice of powder coatings, though I'm hoping that you are wrong about which is best for durability - if prepared correctly, I'm hoping that powder coating is best - probably down to painting being a lot cheaper! I'm just 6 months into using powder coated refurbished winter alloys.
