My next mod is for fog lights. I do not like the yellow color standard. 

Trying to find a LED that give in addition to color white to be also able to illuminate, I bought these LED lamps: 

For the R-line (2400 lumens per lamp):

This way I can test the effectiveness of both. On youtube there are several interesting videos.

The standard lamps give about 1100 lumens, the xenon approx 2800 lumens. 

In a month the results.

How well do they light up the road compared to halogen bulbs?

I think 2400 lumens quite will improve the lighting of fog lamps.
I estimate that within 4 weeks I'll have them installed. I will try to make a video and upload images.

We now have reference number for stalks (restyling 2014). We will have to see if retrofitting is possible ... 







For the stalks of steering column the connectors are different. 6R vs 6C1
Will have to make a new wiring...
For now I have not 6C1 electrical diagrams, and without them little can be done.

Still thinking about the GTi/BlueGT cluster.

Ciclo I know You have Blue GT version, but dont you know is the GTI cluster can show the current gear and offer gear?
Because i think all GTI comes with DSG gearbox, but i've got 1.2 TSI with 6 gear manual. I can only get the GTI cluster

Dear Ciclo!

Sorry for ask again, but i can not find info in the whole net, so nobody know the answer.
My mechanic sad once he stored the car's VIN in the cluster, ha can not delete the VIN, so we dont have second chance!

So are You 100% sure the GTI cluster will show the gear with 6 gear manual. (my mechanic dont know the answer)
