MFSW controls
MFSW controls
Due to the cost of a MFSW for my Polo..
I was thinking in just keeping the original steering wheel and just adding the controls to
It..
Is it as easy as that?
If not.. What will I need to add?
Ive need alot of these MFSW Modules.. Will i need this?
Do they connect direct to the back of my RCD510?
Sorry for the naivety..
Thanks!

Re: MFSW controls
Hi you need to contact eddie-nl or eddie-gt , he did mine and will sort you out
Re: MFSW controls
You'll need to replace the wheel as a minimum assuming you do not have the leather wheel.
Depending on exactly what was specified originally and when it was built you may need to swap out control modules, airbag and/or the slip ring.

MFSW controls
Whil not fit, because when u take the cover of your own steering wheel off there is no space. And the fitting is also diference.

Re: MFSW controls
The right hand buttons will only work if you have a highline dash
Have you got buttons at present then?

Re: MFSW controls
Some steering wheels look like they accept buttons but they will not
Youll also need the steering wheel controller to match

This is my steering wheel.. Found this picture on the internet so not my actual interior.
I have the 1.2 TSI with the 087 BCM installed.
If any of that helps..

Re: MFSW controls
You only need to add 2x wires and a new airbag loom
buttons probably won't fit your wheel
I have a wheel like the one in the picture you posted, but I think your Airbag might be different

How can I find out if my wheel will work with the controls? Are the codes or part numbers i can check and match up with something else?

Hi chrispy!
A few months ago i have the same problem.
The solution was to change the steering wheel, to flat bottom Scirocco mfsw.
Like that:

I asked ciclo about, can i changed only the button, i think that not a way. You can read our posts here:
