How to fit in-car foot area light's ?

I have vw polo 1.6 16v GTI 6N2, MKV

I bought 2 Passat's foot area lights from scrappy..

I want to install so, it will work simultaneously with my main inside light. on unlock lit up etc..

Any ideas where is the best place to get the power / lead from?. (my last resort will be going all the way to the roof to get power..)

Power feed for the interior light comes off the plug behind the carpet where the bonnet pull is

Use the diagram I sent you earlier for basic equipment to pinpoint which pin and wire colour it uses
