Little help (MOT)

Evening all,

what do i need to do, to correct this -

front anti-roll bar excessive play in a pin/bush 2.4.G.2

New anti roll bar links, bushes and anti roll bar inner bushes

Reasonably. You need to coat the ends of the arb in grease to get the bushes to push on, also might need to use a jack to lift the wishbone so you can do the lower bushes

If you can, use genuine arb links and bushes. The copy parts really are rubbish and the genuine ones aren't that much more. You'll need a link for each side, four washers four of the rubber doughnuts, two nuts and the inner arb bushes should you choose to replace them

None of them. Bring up the same picture for the Mk3 polo (6n2 is actually a mk3 facelift by official terms)

Make sure you put the drop links on the right way around too otherwise they won't line up with the wishbone! Just take a note of the position of the old ones. Angle grind to split the old ones off too, it's easier. The centre bushes will be tight when you put the new ones in but they are just pinched in with little plates that tab into the subframe.
