check every wire that carries power
i dont think its the red/yellow problem as that wouldnt caquse current drain, just loss of presets.
i run a lot of equipment all off the stock battery and its running fine

hey went down to halfords they say my wirings fine and is a decent job for me first install but they got no clue what it is. So i intalled the whole thing again and found my remote wire dosent work ( sub light was on when keys are out) os im guesiing this is what is draining the battery.

BUT

once i disconnected the sub i kept the stereo runnnig and found that when key remains in the iginition stereo still works when u take the key out the stereo remains on then cuts out and then tries to turn back on.
Is this normal for an alpine stereo i would have thought once keys out stereo is off!!!!!

hey guys cheers for the help got it sorted out and so far no problems.
