Gti Advice

Post by Stugolf1 »

Hi Guys

In the market for one of these for my Mrs, she really wants a Lupo Gti but the budget won't stretch this far, she has around £1,500 for one which puts us in the ball park

I know the well documented issues with the gearbox so will be wary when buying but how do these cars handle? She currently has a 6N3 1.4 (60bhp) which handles like a boat so wants the GTi to handle a bit better

Thanks

The GTI has lower suspension, a wider track, thicker front anti roll bar, and also a rear anti roll bar to improve the handling. They do handle much much better than the standard 6N2s. Ive always been happy with the handling of mine!

Can be easily, and cheaply, improved further by lowering 30mm on some decent springs :)
