Great photos, thanks :)

Do the radio station logos appear automatically, or do you have to upload them from somewhere?

I see you have USB charging cables in the console - where are you putting your phone? The cupholders seem a bit deep and they almost completely mask the screen, at least on my iPhone 5S.

The 16mpg is probably because they kept the engine running while prepping the car.

That's actually pretty handy! Especially when going through toll roads and whatnot. And fills up otherwise empty space.

Sadly I have opted for Alcantara Interior so I get included heated seats, so I will not get card slots.

You win some you lose some I guess.

Just a few pics , one of the door cards which I think are really nice look quite high end, there is so much stuff in the head unit could spend hours just flicking through it all, as iv gone with black I'm glad I got the tinted back windows with it just adds to the look,
I think it's going to take me a while to get used to the buttons on the steering wheel especially while driving iv only used them while stationary at the moment, so we will see :) will add more pics and descriptions in the next few days going for a good drive on Saturday :)

That's awesome! Black alway looks mint, but it's a bugger to keep clean :-) can't wait to get mine tomorrow

FYI, I'm now running my car at "Comfort" tyre pressures - 39 F 36R IIRC. Improves the ride, so worth a try. Don't forget to reset the pressure warning system after changing them.....

Car behaves well on light snow too, tested that this morning!

Few more of the infotainment etc:

Selecting Albums off an SD card (either touch screen or use the RH dial):

Selecting Tracks:

SD and CD player in glovebox:

The passenger seat drawer :-).

And a pic of the area under the console - with nokia 800 for scale (about the same as iphone 5). Something can be done for a phone mounting here I'm sure. Would then not be an obvious thing.

ow're you finding the DSG on the BlueGT Mark?

Went for it on a whim, as I think it is the way forward. Was only able to test drive a Manual BlueGT sadly.

@thefrog no problem mate, yes I'm using my charger in it but I'm just putting the phone on the seat as I can control all the music through the head unit perfectly I don't really need the phone unless I am using satnav but that will still come through the speakers
@dochouse yea iv found out it gets annoyingly dirty rather quick haha hopefully not as much in summer though :)

Oooh, a look at the mysterious under-seat tray. I hope I get at least one on my LHD BGT. Thanks so much for posting :D

Black is a swine to keep clean and shows swirl marks REALLY quickly/easily. You might want to use a touchless wash to avoid this. Avoid rollers at all costs.

Re. phone, I may go for one of these cupholder storage things that Seat sell, but they're crazy expensive for what they are:

£38!

I have an idea for the phone, first piece of that puzzle arrives tomorrow so will post pics as I figure it out :-).

I usually wash my cars roughly bi-annually, so swirl marks won't really be an issue  . I'm going to have to google "Touchless Wash" though - I'm intrigued.

Touchless wash = Big Pressure washer and snowfoam gun :-)

That cupholder thing looks interesting but £38.00 having a laugh...

In other news just had a letter from VW confirming that UK dealers will be selling the mirror link activation doc from end of this month :-)

Excellent news on mirrorlink. If it works with co-pilot I might have to have a punt at that.

I'm assuming in the above photo the trip computer saying 285Miles for a full tank is wrong?

Have most people got more?

Thanks

Very happy. I now know why you cant have the winter pack and Alcantara - the Alcantara seats are heated. Massive win.

Will do some pics this weekend - it's filthy right now and my decent SLR is at home.

FYI - the manual says less than 2/3rds max RPM and not flat out for the first 1000km.
Mark how do you know this? (About the heated alacantra seats, doesn't say on website?)

On the configurator it lets you have both?

My dealer sent me a video of it waiting to be polished and detailed :-)
Nice, how is it a 12 plate though?
