Are any of you thinking of changing the interior lights to LEDs?

Also, do you guys find the reflection of the light switch in window distracting when looking in the mirror?

Cheers for your help @doc_house just ordered them now.

Has anyone thought about changing the number plate lights to LED bulbs too? I'm stuck between changing the whole module to an OEM LED kit or to just change the actual bulb...

I have this kit saved in my eBay watch list, but can't decide. Worried I might lose the fade effect with LEDs and that they might make the car look a bit naff...

Number plate LEDs would be ok, as some high-end Golfs, Polos and Audis have this as standard. Didn't realise there was an entirely different OE module, though.

The OEM modules are along these sort of lines... http://www.hids4u.co.uk/vw-led-number-plate-light.html

Read elsewhere that often the OEM Audi modules are a generic VAG part and can be used. If anything will also give it a refined look too.

Decisions, decisions!

See what you mean, the LEDs are completely integrated into the 'bulb holders'.

Tank - would be grateful if you could as we're both rocking the deep black together so will give me a good idea.

Mayhem - thank you for the links to both, your help is much appreciated.

Today I seen my car for the first time. It turns out that the one I pictured on Sunday with a 64 plate hanging off it is actually my vehicle!! Although I am still holding out for 15 plate registration the admin team have assigned it a 64 plate straight away as the build sheet was initially for a pick up straight away. Thankfully this plate has not yet been registered at all (already checked with DVLA). I must admit I absolutely love it. Here's a few pictures of it as it stands right now. The interior shot is a bit ropey, apologies!

Is it just me or does it look like the car is riding a bit high AlanBlakey1? A friend of mine had a TT where they forgot to remove the little rubber blockers from the springs in the PDI, caused no end of problems!

Yes all VW Group cars come looking like tractors when arriving from the factory. They are altered during PDI.
