Hi All, Any suggestions on retro fitting cruise control on the 6r. Where's the best place to get the kit from ? I'm happy with the install and coding but and tips would be great.

Take a look at cars-equipment.com or at local VW-dealership.
Search for part number: 6Q0 953 503 CE + 6Q0 095 653 is the stalk set switches plus wiring etc.
good luck!

So, two options with or without DIS.
So mine is a highline 6r but doesn't have the full display like the GTI.
so which one is it ?

If you have buttons on the tip of your wiper arm it's with. If you don't it's without.

Cool....I've got it.
Re: 6r Cruise Control Retrofit Recommendations
I wanted to know this question too. I also have the midline (not the full function display = highline?) display, it was my understanding (from happydayz retrofit) that the full function display needed to be fitted in order for ANY cruise control to be fitted?
Please let me know if you install this with success without the highline computer.

The would meen that only the GTI and BlueGT could have cruise control... I have seen plenty "normal" Polo's with CC. That's just nonsense...lxm wrote:I wanted to know this question too. Re: 6r Cruise Control Retrofit Recommendations
Hazzy days gave me a price for cruise control on mine for £295 fitted. Mines not a GTI and has the standard DIS.
They base the quotes on your chassis number, so I'm not sure how it can be do different.
