Be good to hear how you get on. Mine is set on the first program plus 2. Plus 3 seems to give over boost errors.

So people who have been using it for a while. What are your favourites settings? What issues have you had?

Delighted with it overall, but if I were to be picky:

- stop/start hardly ever works, because of the battery drain. The box is wired to the chassis, as they instruct, but doesn't function properly.
- the switch over between 2 & 4 cylinders seems more noticeable, especially on motorways.
- I recently bought one for my Ford Transit van and it didn't work at all - sent it back a month ago and they're still messing me about, saying it now works, dragging their heels over a refund, etc.

Overall satisfied, but probably wouldn't buy from DTUK again after the Transit experience.

I'm very sceptical about the pedal modifier but putting that aside I have enjoyed tuning boxes and remapping in the past with some being better than others. The Vehicle Testing Agency having tested most of the available modifications states that none of them are fit for purpose. Does anybody on the forum have any explanation for their negative view of such devices?

It gives the car a big kick in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear, with more pull in 5th and 6th as well. I have it combined with a pedal box, and it offers a feel rather like my old MKv Golf GTi without a remap.
Hey i have a 2013 1.4 petrol 85hp stock. Would i be able to get a box like you have ?.

I had a Revo map on my Mk6 Golf GTI a few years ago and didn't like it at all. Made the car feel very 'messed with'.

Anyone know anything about the polo gti 2015 dtuk box? It's saying on the site it goes from 192bhp to 252 Bhp, seems like quite a lot from a box?

If it's the non turbo engine then a box will do virtually nothing. Petrol tuning generally all comes from increasing boost

So if i bought an turbo from an old mk4 and then bought a box it would give me some extra power ?.

I feel a slight element of under-estimation here.... You have a turbo, and then what? Bolt it on, mount an intercooler, do some custom piping, put on a few sensors, adjust the engine management, hope it doesn't explode and spend a few thousand euros. Wouldn't do it myself.
