Maximum SD card capacity for Composition Colour

Post by yahoodlums »

Hi there,

I have the more basic Composition Touch Colour system, the dealer said it only supported SD cards of 8GB or less but the manual seems to suggest other Composition systems accept greater capacity cards.

Can anyone confirm?

So far I've tried 8GB SDHC - works!
32GB micro SDHC via an adapter - not recognised
16GB micro SDHC via an adapter - not recognised

I'm beginning to think it really only reads 8GB or less and I've run our of SD cards to test it with. Does SDXC make a difference?

SDXC shouldn't make a difference. Even the old series RNS devices go up to 64.

Maybe it's due to a non-compatible file system? (i.e. NTFS, FAT, FAT32 etc).
Also, the partition talbe could be off. (MBR, GUID).

These are just educated guesses tough, I don't have a 6C so can't test.

I run a 32Gb card and it works perfectly. However, as stated in the manual, it must be a SDXC.
