POLO Blue GT Exhaust tips size??

I am lkooking to add the chrome tailpipes to my polo GT and have contacted the parts dept at my local VW retailer. I understand that the GTI tips for the GT (Part No: 6R 0253825). When VW put my Reg and Chassis number into the computer they said i needed to find out what size the tailpipes were in diameter to see if they do fit the car.

Can anyone confirm the size of the tailpipes and whether the part number 6R 0253825 which i believe to be the GTI tailpipes will fit the GT?. Does anyone also know the price for them?.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem - the finishers are not listed on the BGT parts database, because the BGT doesn't have them, but I can confirm (having bought them myself) that the GTI finishers are 100% compatible. I paid about £35 for both.

When you order them do they come in a pack or do you have to buy 2 individual ones as ive been quoted as £22 each as they don't know if they come in a set or not.

The BGT and GTI share the same exhaust. I have þe GTI tips on my BGT.

My dealer was similarly ignorant - you need to order 2.
