What is the last number? Can't find any pictures for it.

There is also an R8 coolant cap that I think should fit all modern VWs (420121321). Costs a bit more but matches the R8 oil cap perfectly

But the second part (1K0 955 455), isn't that just the plain blue OEM washer cap which is factory fitted on our cars?

I changed the coolant and washerfluid caps for a set of black ones a long time ago. Makes a huge change to the enginebay to get rid off the stock blue ones.

I didn't get the R8 oilcap as I don't think it fits anything else in the enginebay. But it's a nice oilcap either way.

The 1K0 955 455 part number is also for the blue cap. I have a blue cap in my Polo with that number under it. According to the web, the part number is used for both the blue and black ones, and most of them are blue (I'm not even sure the black one is OEM). So one has to check with the seller before buying to make sure it's black since one can't just go by the part number.

The Porsche caps are nice too, but let's face it, R8 ones look cooler

The brake fluid cap looks nice, is it from the Golf mk7?

I find it funny how a lot of VW owners get an R8 oil cap to get rid of the plain black stock oil cap, but then they go and change the colorful stock coolant and washer caps into plain black stock caps

Maybe they just don't like the color, it's not that pretty. Might work better on my car since it has blue accents. It's just annoying that they put different colors in (black coolant and blue washer)

The easiest way is probably to simply extend the wires from the connection in front, since it has all the wires you need (+12V, GND and illumination if you wish)
I'm not sure you'll have to remove the entire middle tunnel for this or a guide wire will do.

Relay JD1914 5-pin 12V changeover.

K418 module is designed to operate with positive signals from the switch.
Mirrors switch work by closing the circuit to ground therefore it is necessary to install a relay.

Andrea6r. I did put a switchover relay because control unit K418 http://i73.servimg.com/u/f73/18/06/17/81/captur22.jpg was designed for positive electrical signals and folding switch works by closing the circuit to ground.

Your control unit http://gd2.alicdn.com/imgextra/i2/13914 ... 146238.jpg is very different (14-pin VS 9-pin K418), so it makes no sense for you to install a relay without knowing an electrical diagram your control unit (white).

At first, I did this installation for electric folding mirrors.
