Spoiler Brake Light Stopped Working

So this morning on my way to work the brake light in the spoiler on my blue gt stopped working. The car has only covered 4500 miles and is 8 months old so would expect the LED to last longer than this. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

It's nothing I have heard of before... I think you need to visit your VW garage.

If it's still under waranty it's just a matter of getting it done.

How did you manage to get this fixed? I've got the same issue and initially thought it would be a straight swap a replacement unit but the blue gt spoiler is properly in the way

yes you'll have to remove the spoiler
