Hi All,
Just a quick one I hope.
I have recently taken ownership of a 64 plate Blue GT up from a 13 plate VW UP!
But one thing I have noticed is at night when I have my headlights on, in the UP! once stopped and turning off the car, when you open the door there is a warning sound to warn you that you have left the headlights on.
But this doesn't happen on the BGT? Its not an issue in the sense of battery draining, because the lights turn off when you turn the ignition off, its more to do with the fact that I get in the car the next morning and drive to work in sunlight (rare in the UK) with my headlights on because I hadn't realised and hadn't turned them off!
Any other BGT drivers experienced this or is it just me?

This is just newer functionality - if you left it on sidelights, itll buzz at you, but on headlights it wont
Its either you put them on auto if you have auto lights, or turn them off when you get out

Ahhh Ok awesome thanks for that Alex.
Didn't shell out for the Auto Headlights so will just have to get into the habit of remembering to turn them off

Once you take the key out the headlights are off anyway (at least in mine they are). Was the same with my golf, only beeped if I'd left it on side lights. I always leave mine on in winter and (touchwood) have never had any problems
