Here is the spec again.

Red
3 door
DSG
Sunroof
Light and sight pack
Electric folding wing mirrors
Winter pack
Electronic climate control
Mirrorlink
Voice activation
Rear camera
Cruise and Park pack
Sport button
5 year warranty
Great stuff m8, what's standard suspension and sport button like. Seeing ur list of options is making me concerned why mines taking forever as I've just got 2 and I'm excatly a month after you ordering. Have fun

Standard suspension is good. Only done town driving at the moment and briefly switched the sport button on to heard the engine note change etc. (I want peak traffic to lessen first then I can have more space on the roads later.)

No centre arm rest this time. I didn't spec it because it was standard kit on my 2010 model and I never used it.

Loving the needle sweep on start up. Liking the fact that many more settings are available through the infotainment system. On the settings screen you can say if you want the mirrors to fold when locking the doors with the remote.

Steering wheel feels great and the steering is more precise than previous model.

LED lights are smart in the new configuration, seem more bluey white this time. Can set them to come on in the dark and if the car detects rain.

My only disappointment so far is that on the previous model you could connect and hide the ipod in the glovebox . On this model the connection, as far as I can see, is via the USB in the compartment under the climatronic. Not so good.

All in all, brilliant car.
Sounds gr8, I'll look forward to your pics as got a bad feeling about mine and why its taking so long for some reason

I feel bad for you Andy4791, especially after quite a number of us told you to get one, me included. I think you've had a raw deal in waiting times.
I know that the dealerships in many places are fed up with VW not meeting customers expectations with delivery times.
All that German efficiency goes out of the window it would seem as soon as the orders reach the factories!!

Anyone else experiencing problems with placing an order? dealers saying VW UK are not accepting orders, some problem with the system?

JohnPolo, look forward to seeing the pics.

Its nobody on here's fault I've welcomed the advice. Just a tad frustrating seeing people order later but are seeming to be getting them quicker. Anyway hope to see an hear more about yours in mean time. By the way, did u let dealer prepare the car, and if so what was condition of paint like. And any other observations u have after a few days

Dealer told me the same thing. Been waiting nearly a week. He sent me the order number this afternoon and guess what... It isn't coming up as an order on the volkswagen tracker website!

Do they do park assist as an option?! :D

Looks like a cracking car that, I fancied a red one when I went looking for my 6R version.

Congrats on the arrival and enjoy it!

I was proper hyped for getting mine, but when the moved my car back to July when I ordered just after Andy on the 16th of feb, I'd had enough so cancelled, fed up with service of vw atm. My mum has had similar issues with her 1.0. Bought it 6 weeks ago and it struggled to select reverse. And we moaned and moaned, finally went in to be repaired and had broken gear selector. On a brand new car! As it was like it when we got it. SHOCKING!

Thanks guys. I'm loving it, can't leave it alone at the moment.

(Park assist is on the Golf but not the Polo as far as I know, Tooks.)

Compared to my 2010 model it certainly feels better.

DSG is improved, a dream. quieter, smoother, shift paddles have a lovely short smooth action, bit clunky before I think.
Improved sound in the cabin, road noise reduced a fair bit I notice.
Standard drive settings has the car feel smoother and less bumpy than the previous model, really soaks up the imperfections in the road far better than before!
In sport mode it is firmer but not horrendous, roads around here pretty good anyway. Think the journalists who said it was far too hard for everyday use were drama queens. Time will tell if I change my mind.
Love the infotainment, the screen recognises that your hand is moving closer and pops up the relevant display buttons. Album art displays when playing a track.
All the buttons and switches have a better feel and action when compared to before. Even the indicator sound is more pleasing .
It is so nice having voice activation in conjunction with the phone connectivity. A very nice female voice speaks to me. :)

Everyone is loving it even friends and neighbours with seriously high end cars.

Btw. Spotted a nearly new Fiesta ST yesterday and I could tell he'd spotted me. Felt very nice pulling up alongside him at the lights.

Sounds like it's exactly what I'm after.

The little temporary drop in power will be made for by a few more toys and a little more refinement over my 9n3. :D
