You have the same problem I had.
You'll have to play with the bits for a while and have a lot of luck. It took me two hours.
People think I have privileged information, but everything I've done to my Polo 6R has been based on experiments
and the scant information released by few good people of this world.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Today I got the correct mirror switch from the seller. However it had the shiny chrome finish on the knob, not the matte chrome look that I wanted (the same look that the knobs on my clima and RNS 315 have, and that the Golf mk6 switch I was sent earlier has). So I used your guide to open the Golf mk6 switch and take off the matte chrome knob. I wanted to put it on my new Polo switch from aliexpress, but when I opened it I noticed that the mechanism inside was slightly different. So I decided not to use the new Polo switch, but instead I opened the factory switch from my car, and put the matte chrome knob on that one. Had to disassemble and redo a couple of times since I first assembled it with the wrong knob shaft (too short), then assembled it with the correct shaft but the shaft offset 180 degrees...But finally I got it. Thanks for the guideciclo wrote:You had bad luck with the shipping of mirror switch. Do not worry, I know that the chinese solve it soon...

Only the 6C lock switch with chrome trim missing now

Cheba good job
, here is the tutorial for switches with strip chrome: http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 99#p482798

My next project looks similar to this:
http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/22 ... try3124214
But I go try to make with OEM parts (aliexpress or eBay
) from VW Passat CC.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2X-LED-S ... 82387.html
Puddle light VW Passat CC

Puddle light VW Golf VI (too big for the mirror housing Polo 6R...
)

The electrical connection is very easy, the same as the footwell lights, + T73a/65, - T73a/4, and run the wires through the doors up to the mirrors.
This is a project with a high difficulty that will take me a long time because this summer I haven't time to dedicate to the car.
I've verified that puddle lights from Passat CC not fit in Polo 6R mirrors, so it is need to modify puddle lights and make the holes with accurate on mirror housing... with patience and skillfully... any error in the cutting of the plastic will ruin the project.

Any suggestions or information about mirror puddle light on Polo 6R is appreciated.

Hi ciclo,
I installed the rear view camera, but I connected the negative (ground) to the brown wire connector of the brake lights (pin 2) and not to the frame with the metal ring. It's always ok?

Hi Bachecco, when you say pin 2 taillights, I assume you mean the right taillights.
Pin 2 right taillights is connected from factory to the same ground point (61) of metal frame that you say, so it's fine for your RVC.
Enjoy it.

Follow exactly the instructions in this guide on page 75, remember that you have to activate the Security Access -16.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
the problem is that I can't get into the module 10 park/steer Assist because it gives me this error: "no response from controller"
