Thanks! I'll check it out.

*EDIT

DAMNIT! :x Went on another detailing shopping spree....

Asides from the rubber conditioner I got another bottle of Duragloss Aquamax (Can't recommend it enough! After a wash it just makes the car look brand new), some window cleaner with water repellent from Stoner, and some carpet & upholstery cleaner from Mothers. I already have their VLR (Vynil, Leather & Rubber which is brilliant for the Polo's rubber dash). Plus alot of drying and microfibre towels...
Is the VLR safe to use on the touchscreen of the Media Interface?
I'm not sure but I don't use it there. For the touchscreen a mildly moist microfiber cloth is more than enough. I just keep a good one in my glovebox, it's very useful.

Status change from 'Build week confirmed' to 'In Transit' within 24 hours of the build apparently beginning.

A sudden sense of urgency... to park my GTI in the port for 2 months no doubt... haha.

That's what happened to me. Was delivered within 4 weeks of the status change though.

There's a few GTi's for sale through dealers on Autotrader at decent prices now, if you want one quickly with a few thousand on it...

So it seems VW factories go into full speed, we've had people with week 37, 38, 39, 40 and now 41 :)

I'm on week 38, can't be soon enough :P

Nice only ordered mine this week so I doubt mines week 41, but anything from week 42-45 I will be more than happy with. Week 42 would be perfect as I get back from thailand that tuesday haha.

Yeah I only ordered mine earlier this month so yours shouldnt be too far behind mine. It's only provisional though, so probably will change. And then it'll be another few weeks to be delivered and ready for collection :(
