Don't you already have the same on the Polo? What's special on that one?

Is this made possible by the new BCM you're fitting for the lighting on the steering wheel?

Maybe, but ... patience, many things to test and verify.
The more difficulties, more funny for me with it.

I'm doing a good installation guide, when I publish all doubts will be resolved with much charity. Patience (only one to two weeks)

Here is what the auto dimming mirror looks like in the Polo.ORiOn wrote:Don't you already have the same on the Polo? What's special on that one?
Also comes in black in the GTI/GT/R WRC and R-Line
(Yes I know the picture is not taken in a Polo. But it's the same mirror)

I know how it is on the Polo, I've got one. It's the same function as on the Scirocco... Except the back part that Fernando just showed us!

Fernando I think I know where this small part of this big project is leading to, your adding Lane Assist on a 6R

No, but the gauges are very tempting.j0rd4n500 wrote:is it the gauges in the centre above the air vents.
very close to guess ...gpeixoto109 wrote:Are you going to install a dash camera in the top of the dash?
Doing a search on google I found this type of dash camera that looks like a good solution:
You can see there are two models, for mirror 6R & 6C, both with rain sensor.
Thanks Mart!n-GTI-DK, with that image is easier to compare the mirrors on the same page.Mart!n-GTI-DK wrote:Here is what the auto dimming mirror looks like in the Polo.ORiOn wrote:Don't you already have the same on the Polo? What's special on that one?
That would be great, but I'm afraid that is not possible "Lane Assist" with this model of HBA control unit.JIC Cracked wrote:Fernando I think I know where this small part of this big project is leading to, your adding Lane Assist on a 6R![]()
Am I Right
VCDS
- HBA High Beam Assist (FLA, Fernlichtassistent)
Address 20: High Beam Assist. (J844) This is the feature that I will try to achieve.
- For "Lane Assist" you need:
Address A5: Frt Sens. Drv. Assist (R242)
With this control unit can be activated many other functions for driver assistance: signals recognition (RNS necessary ... or new units), Dynamic Light Asssit
, also the HBA, and the Lane Assist that we talked about. But I am afraid that there is no BCM for Polo 6R that supports these functions. And perhaps another type of Power assisted steering is required.

Please, anyone know which is the first theme-song of this video?
I would listen without the video.
