The problem is that almost always I do an efficient driving and never have had to change the brake pads due to wear... I drive with a lot of calm in the cities.
I've been to spain and rented a car there in downtown Valencia and I must say, in that city that is not possible. The drive like idiots there :p
I'm looking forward to seeing the changes made by the VW dealership over Adaptation of BCM or Instrument Cluster for the HBA. Tomorrow I will call to the vw dealership for a programming session. Image
Just came to my mind: to keep warranty, vw has this (stupid) rule that you have to do the services at the VW dealer. I am already feeling bad for the person that gets the work order to do the normal maintenace on your VW Polo. He will be like "WTF is this car??" [in spanish of course]. Take some photos LOL

iichel, to keep the warranty? Are you kidding? ... I do not need warranties for this, for me (IMHO) the best warrantee is the information (ETKA, Elsawin, TPI's) based on knowledge and experience.

All due respect for those who with full legality make use of warranties.

My R-line has nothing unknown to the workers-electricians from my VW dealership, we have a good relacción for many, many years now. I use my dealer for these important things only and this things makes me keep buying Audi, VW and spare parts when I need. I fully trust on them, over all in electronic programs from factory.

Yeah of course but in the Netherlands I know some dealerships refused warranty on, for example, the faulty EGR on the 1.2TDI because the car was not dealer serviced.
Not that I want to bash VW right now, but maybe if you have an engine issue or something then you might night the warranty since your car is very new (2013)

hi ciclo,

it took me a while to read through your amazing mods on your polo. there where 2 i wanted to do myself and that are the rain/light sensor in combination with your autolight ch/lv mod.
the rain/light sensor i have installed with the mirror and it works fine. but the second part was the autolight well got a problem there and was hoping you could help me.

the problem i got is that the on the light switch the front fog light illuminates and also the lights on the turning knob, when you apply batt. power. the front fog lights don''t work when you put them on with the switch.
the auto lght doesn't work and neither the ch/lv.

i took the multimeter and measured the cable and found no problem with it. maybe it's the coding. i was wanderring if you could take a look at my coding to see if i have a problem there, or it's my wiring??

cheers

Nope , with high beam flash .
Every lightsource works except foglight, With permanent illuminatie of foglight indicator on lightswitch.

Hi sanders, welcome.
In short, with the light switch in AUTO position your fog lights and switch illumination are activated. Right?
If so your wiring has the wires improperly connected Image... ... don't worry, the easiest way to fix this problem is interchange the pins 2 and 5 on new 10-pin connector.

It also is recommendable checking again all wiring with multimeter and diagram.
