Is it normal to have poor fuel consumption for the first few hundred miles whilst everything beds in? I've been taking it easy and have averaged about 25 though it is improving. Love the infotainment system, brilliant interface and the sound quality from the speakers is good too. Big fan of the fake engine noise also.

I did think the stereo quality wasn't so good as my fiestas Sony head unit. But a few days tweaking the equaliser and its sounds better. On the graphic that moves sound left n right and from front to back where does everyone have the cross hair positioned? Found when I reset it to centre that sounded like I'd only got 2 speakers, moved to further back and can hear rears and more balanced sound. Also peoples equaliser settings wud b wood but know all our ears are different

Cheers - feel a bit weird at the mo cos I want to be excited but it seems like too far away to get excited about if that makes sense?

Hiya Andy. I can't wait :) never had a brand new car before - think the newest I've had was a 98 S reg in 2004 lol
My Anni is 13 and my 6N2 is nearly 16 so it'll be a bit of a luxury for me :)

Dealer rang this morning confirmed mine is in the UK finally! 3 weeks after build week (39).

Shipment came in over the weekend just as a heads up to everyone who's as eager as I am!

Cheers for heads up mines now in the "build in progress" stage. build week was last week, so hopefully another 3 weeks till england and 4 weeks till collection.

Anyone got any idea why manual air con is sometimes on when i start the car? I never use it so can't get my head around it, just a waste of fuel.

If your air direction is set to screen,or the temp set to full cold air con will come on automatically

So tweeted Vwhelp and they have told me its waiting to be shipped , were as last week they told me it was on route bizzare [emoji53]
Ive been having a look for you on AIS and there is another ship due in to Sheerness, Grimsby & Tyne this week and has done the same route to the I believed mine to be on. The ship is called the City of Barcelona and due in to Sheerness on the 19th.

My Dealer mentioned that my car came into Grimsby on Wednesday off the ship but my tracker didn't change untill yesterday, so obviously it takes a couple of days for it to change on the tracker.

Hope this helps!

Hi Tomos

What website/app do you use for tracking?

Been told that mines been allocated to go on the City of Barcelona, but not on it yet, so I assume I'll be waiting for it to get back to Emden and then on it's way to the UK? Can you see the itinerary for that ship anywhere?
