Thanks for the info. I hope that it is the same for mine as that would mean that I may receive it before Christmas.

quick question, anyone know if its possible to have sensors fitted (parking?) starting to regret not opting for them originally
Had the same issue - didn't want to wait for a factory order so bought one that was already in transit (unfortunately no options specced) and they just diverted it to my local dealer.

Paid £250 for rear sensors to be fitted and they are rubbish so they're now paying £399 + VAT for them to be replaced with some decent ones..

Picked mine up last Wednesday. Absolutely love it, such a well rounded car. 3rd gear is a dream!

On a side note, I've put the genuine mats up for sale in the classified forum. Never been used, incase anyone wants a set.

today I've removed the stock air feed and replaced for some ducting straight to my air filter, much much better.

the stock air feed is a simple two bolts of job.And the ducting i had fitted nicely in the grillImage

I have had my GTI for two weeks and I absolutely love it. I went from an Audi S3 and was worried the difference in power would be an issue but the little Polo manages to put a smile on my face everyday.

Done 8000km in mine. Never missed a beat, cracking little car!
Been averaging 50+mpg to and from work. Just set the CC to 90kph and we're scoring serious points on that "think blue" app thingie.

Story's a bit different on the weekends :D

With 300 miles on the clock, the best ive had - sticking to 60 on the CC IS 42mpg on a 30 mile journey to work. On average i get about 39mpg. Hopefully it will rise as the engine loosens up.
