Regarding seeing yellow number plate in rear view camera all of a sudden, Bobby1873, did you get any solution? Just noticed this is happening to my new GTI. Was fine yesterday and today I see the number plate, which didn't happen before. Anyone with any ideas why? I have had a look at the camera and it seems solid, no movement. Its annoying.

Anyone?? Its showing more of the plate today... can't be right.

Yes i have squeaking brakes and noise when travelling and manoeuvring at low speeds. Sound system is alright..ish ( I have the Nav too which is good) sound is harsh at times, lacking clear bass and undefined in the mid range, but i didn't expect much.. would of liked dynaudio or fender option! Engine and exhaust sounds good though.

Glad I'm not the only one thinking it sounded average at times, thought it was my ears. Spent a while tweaking the equaliser this weekend and got it closer to what I like. Yeah an upgrade in the stereo an speakers would b a welcome option.

Do u think the quality of the sound is good, I'm a bit disappointed in the sound compared to my fiestas system. Powerful but lacks a bit of clarity

Yes the sound is dead on like.. Just happy to be able use Apple Music with it... Still getting used to the car at the moment.. Took the mats out today and changed to the Vw rubber ones so they don't get ruined with the winter coming...

Was thinking the same myself the other day. Halogen fog lights ruin the look of the LED's!

Anyone know the rough time from entering the UK to pick up. I was hoping a week, I only live about an hour and half from dover, but im not sure where it will dock. I also know the person who sorted out the sale of the car, So hopefully he'll speed up the process a bit.
From arriving in the UK, its should take about 3-4 days to reach the dealer and then 1 day to do the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) and then your car [emoji41]

The cars come into Sheerness in the south, Grimsby in the Midlands and Tyne in the north so my bet is that tours will come into Sheerness.

Post some pics when you get it, the wait is worth it!

I checked online and you was correct, it was meant to arrive at sheerness at 7pm last night, but it seems to be anchored down at Margate. So not sure if it's waiting to come in or whether its been in or what :/. Hopefully not long now though.

If they're anything like my ships at work the captain is probably having a hissy fit due to the weather and refusing to budge until the fog lifts!

Ive just had a look at the tide chart for you now and it seems like it's missed the tide in Sheerness so it's low tide now and it will need at least 4-5 meters to get in so you're looking at beetween 5:30 and 6:30 this evening for the ship to start moving into harbour. If you see a couple of tugs surrounding the vessel, she's imminent of starting her way into harbour probably. Hope this helps.

Took Delivery of my 3 Door Flash Red Manual yesterday, more than pleased with the car! Love the thing, really stands out!
Opted for the sports mode, stiffer suspension & sound enhancement is quality!

Also, little added bonus was to find a reverse parking camera, opted for the standalone 'Cruise & Park Pack' which didn't mention anything about the camera but not gonna complain with the addition!

Getting the squeaking brake sound myself but hopefully that will go once the brakes are bedded in.
Agree with some opinions of the sound system, not amazing but good enough! Currently getting 40mpg though even with 'Premium' fuels :(

Well worth the 4 month wait!!
