ciclo I tried to do what you said but not working. the button of the tires does not draw the error and VDCs also could not. I entered the ABS module, I put the code 40168, went to BASIC SETTINGS, G85, appeared information the green, pressed the button ON / OFF / NEXT and nothing does not happen, the information that showed the green disappeared. 2 times and tried to do anything well. I walked to the car after that and nothing.

Google the vcds code error, you will find the answer :)

I pretty sure you will have to reset the ABS sensors...

I'm pretty sure you will have to reset the Longitudinal/Lateral Acceleration Sensor or something related...

I don't know if this will work on the Polo, but try this:

[Select]
[03 - Brake Electronics]
[Measuring Blocks - 08]
Group 006
[Go!]
Check field 1, the value has to be between -1.5 and +1.5 m/s².
[Done, Go Back]
[Coding-II - 11]
OR (if Coding-II is not available)
[Security Access - 16]
Enter 40168, to enable the basic setting.
[Do it!]
[Basic Settings - 04]
Group 069
[Go!]
Activate the Basic Setting.
[ON/OFF/Next]
After a successful basic setting, field 2 should say "OK".
[Done, Go Back]
To make sure the basic setting was succesful, check the sensor again.
[Measuring Blocks - 08]
Group 006
[Go!]
Check field 1, the value has to be between -1.5 and +1.5 m/s².
[Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

Or if that didn't work, try reseting the esp sensor...

Once again i don't know if it's the same on the Polo, please don't mess to much around the 03 ABS Brakes on vcds if this isn't straight forward...

[Select]
[03 - ABS Brakes]

[Security Access - 16]
Enter 40168
[Do It!]

[Basic Settings - 04]
Group 069
[Go!]
Field 2 should show OK after a successful Calibration.
[Done, Go Back]

[Meas. Blocks - 08]
Group 010 Field 1/2 (Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor (G251))
Specification: ±1.25 m/s²
[Done, Go Back]

[Fault Codes - 02]
All fault codes should have disappeared.
[Done, Go Back]

[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

@ciclo
There i am again..
Few days ago, i told you about the "magic behaviour" of my car..
After that i thought the problem was solved, but i was wrong..

The point is that in daylight, the lights also turn on if the switch is in Auto mode..

I had cut one of the wires that goes to pin nr 1&37, to avoid the magic mode that my engine turns off through the lightswitch..

So,
My question is if you can help me out of this or tell me what to do..

If you need anything, like longcode or something else, just tellme..

:)
