Ok maybe a small moan but this is doin me head in now as I love me music and just can't get stereo to sound as I'd like so I'm not enjoying my tunes lol. What are peoples equaliser setting positions, also the fader positions. My music is high bitrate mp3's which sound fine on other equipment. Thought I'd got closer to something reasonable but certain stuff sounds just really poor. Maybe a few snapshots of peoples settings if no trouble, see if there's a decent set up people have hit on, I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow. Many thx

In preparation for picking up the new car tomorrow, I've just phoned Direct Line to advise them of the change of vehicle. I currently drive a 2009 Fiesta Zetec S, so was naturally expecting an increase in my premium. I paid it outright at last renewal at the end of March and my increase in premium is a massive £1.06 in total for four months cover until 27th March 2016. One of the benefits of being an old git!!

Do you not qualify for the free years insurance? Surely you could cancel you current policy and even though you've paid up front you'll probably get some back

Not really bothered for the free insurance. I've got 12 years protected NCD and I read somewhere that the VW insurance can't be protected.

I was in the same boat. Ended up having to get a DSP to fix it. Sounds stunning now though.

Are you saying that if at the end of the first year we wanted to go back to our previous insurer that we will not be able to get our previous protected NCD?

Cue the duck sounds. Back to the drawing board VW. While I haven't had any speaker pops , I have had speaker fade in at the front again.

No, not saying that at all. If you earn a years NCD whilst with VW, that's another years clean motoring to add to your previous record. If, however, you have an 'at fault' accident within the years free insurance period, your NCD is blown out of the water as it isn't protected.
