Hi, is anyone aware of some mudflaps that fit the R line? Or pictures of one with them on? I can't find any in the threads.
cheers

mudflaps don't fit because of the sideskirts
Re: 6C R Line - Mudflaps
Hi, i'm aware of that. Hence the question being "aware of some mudflaps that fit the R Line" - as I know the VW ones don't. I was more trying to find out if there are any that WILL fit, or if the normal ones could be modified.iichel wrote:mudflaps don't fit because of the sideskirts
Thanks

No luck here either finding mudflaps that suit my BlueGT.
Instead i made a fine line with some tectyl applied with a 30mm brush
I needs a new layer once a year, and can easily be removed if desired.
Btw its quite sturdy and protect aginst stone Chips and debris that hit the skirts

No mudflaps but for cill protection I've found that the clear tape used to protect the leading edge of helecopter rotors is ideal. Not easy to get hold of it, those rotors go round a bit too quick but if you find a cost effective source it's the terriers testicles of tapes.

3M paint protection film is very similar to that clear film

True, I've used that on some other projects, not quite as cut resistant and not quite as sticky but cheaper and easier to source. Don't use it as a substitute for cling film though, it is very difficult to get at your sandwiches.
