My dealership is annoying me now. Agreed on a deal on Sunday, gave £1000 deposit and still haven't got an order form ready

That's not very good, I thought you would do the order form in the dealership when handing over the deposit? I filled one out manually because they normally do it on iPads but they were having problems with their systems. I got a call next day to say finance had been approved.

I was given my order form, the day I ordered the car. Took a bit longer for them to give me the order number for tracking etc...

You've got a receipt for the deposit right?

I would go and see them now and not leave until it's done. That's a very unethical approach.

Yeah I have the receipt. My sales guy told me the sales manager was very busy at the moment so he will email me the order form soon. I might go in tomorrow and stamp my feet around. The longer the factory doesn't know what I've ordered the longer it's gonna take to get built and delivered.

Flash red 5 door manual with cruise and park pack, centre armrest, winter pack, serron alloys and car net app.

Then he should be busy with your order, this brings me back to a Mazda CX-5 I tried to order under similar circumstance last year, arranged a meeting time with the Sales Manager, he was over an hour late, he didn't apologise so I negotiated with him for a further two hours and then got up and left just before signing just to make my point.

We now have a Hyundai Santa Fe, best decision ever, it just ploughs through everything down here in the Quantock Hills with two border collies and soon our first child in tow.

I suggest stamping your feet and do not leave until he has processed the order so you can get your SLI (order) number. Failing that take the money back, order from a lease company who will likely give you a better deal and have it delivered there anyway just to spite... :D

Do you get the same deal with lease company's? As in option to purchase at the end of your term?

To be clear in terms of a deal. More often than not a broker will find you a better deal than a VW dealership as they actually work for your business.

just for anyone reference waiting on their gti.. went into the dealer today after i had a missed call from them. Been told VW stop over christmas (expected) however unexpectedly they don't reflect this in the trackers so my car is now behind schedule and will be around two weeks late which is why my tracker has been in build in progress for a while. Now either they are pulling my leg because somethings wrong or its genuine. Either way i've kicked up a fuss and told them to cancel my order and i'll go buy something else...

But now they claim £500 of my £1,100 deposit is non refundable which they never told me at point of ordering and unable to see this reflected in any paperwork i signed.

Any idea's on weather this is true anyone?

They have to have it in their T&Cs. Ask them to highlight it. If not then state you'll report them to the ombudsman.

That's a bit extreme for the sake of two weeks mate

Not only that been told lies on the times, trackers etc since day one.. been waiting since October, well infact before October as i waited two months for them to find me one to test drive  and after spending £550 on garage labour to make my 6r standard quickly for them in time for the new car it gets delayed

maybe i am impatient but i don't have a car thats driveable until the new one gets here :(

I ordered my car in Oct. What stage are you at on tracker?
