Epc light on a blue gt

Has been coming on a lot over the last few days.

Normally goes off when the car is restarted for a while then pops on again.

Over the last few weeks the car seems to be bogging down more when on a rolling start (roundabouts etc.).

I always just thought it was a characteristic, perhaps not.

Goes in on Monday.

It happens at any time on mine.

It has happened whilst the stop start is in use though. With the engine stopped the light came on and immediately the engine starts. The car then shows a fault with stop start.

Other times its just the EPC light and everything on the vehicle status shows as ok.

My wife used the car yesterday and asked "what's wrong with the car when you pull away it doesn't go anywhere" but no light was on.

Update - just for info really in case anyone else gets it.

Fault diagnosed to a charging sensor issue which will need to be replaced.

Should be back Wednesday.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Possibly. VW have driven it and say it fine. I disagree.

at lights and roundabout it bogs down on initial pressing of the pedal. I think it's the map. I have DSG and in sports mode it's fine.

If it was mine and not leased I would get someone to look at the map and see if it could be changed.

I also now have a fault with the display for the rear parking sensors (it is blocking the image of the rear camera on the screen) so it'll need to go back in again.
