Hello I have 2003 polo I can only open boot with key but when car is unlocked the boot handle only opens but stays on the latch so I need to use key to get it off the latch any one had this before strange to me

Have you tried leaving the boot lock in the "other" key position, I seem to remember that you can do that to make sure the boot is always locked?
