My girlfriend just bought a VW Polo 1.2 twist 2004 which seems to be a lovely car. I scanned it with my Vagcom cable to see if there are any faults and there were, quite a few actually. So I cleared them just in case they were old and did another scan and all them came back. This is the output:

If you do find that the B1 S1 Lambda Sensor one returns, which I'm sure it will, just make sure that you buy either from a VAG outlet or buy on-line from someone that sell NGK branded one as that is what VAG uses. I'd suggest not buying a "wire it yourself fits all" version! This sensor is located in the manicat at the front of the car.
In case it bothers you, the flap motor errors showing in the HVAC section will be the usual annoying issues. At its worst, the temperature motor failure will leave the car interior very cold in this weather or nice and hot. Replacing that one yourself is possible if not just a bit difficult to reach, probably Google (as usual) for help! First of all either run basic settings using VCDS or demand COLD<>HOT a few times as that might clean up the feedback pot track enough for another month or so.

So I'll first clear the codes in the individual modules and scan again. I'll check the spark plugs and coil packs. And report back.
Just like to said guys, cleared the faults for every module individually and run the engine for couple of minutes. Did the scan again and no codes popped up.
