This is first photoshop we've seen of the facelift from this angle. What's interesting about it (to me, anyway) is the amount of curvature across the front. Look at how much further out the grill area is from the headlight areas. Consider the amount of overhang at the middle of the car versus the corners.

Another nice feature is the extent of the sculpting above the sills and the introduction of a swage line. I'm also feeling the front lights on this one.

Just interesting. There are a lot of photochops by this studio on the web, many of which are convertibles. Personally, I doubt it represents anything VW's thinking about, but it's a nice idea.
