Have just tried my dash reset button for the first time and yep it's just gone straight in and isn't coming back out.. Call to VW now then!

Just push it gently in the bottom right corner and it won't stick [emoji106][emoji106]
I'm not particularly rough arse with it

Has anyone had any look with this issue and had it fixed. I saw a white one last week on the Isle of Wight not many over here yet.
I mentioned the squeaking brakes to the dealer, they've "looked" twice but couldnt find anything.

I'm nearly at 3000 miles now and to be honest its very infrequent that I actually hear it now

Annoyingly I've just seen a brand new 16 plate BGT parked outside work! C'Mon vw and deliver my GTI already!

What's taking them so long building the GTI? Considering demand seems quite high for this model you would have thought they would have been quicker now they've been out a while

Could be a stock order, or someone's arrived a few weeks ago and they've been holding out for a new reg :)

Not as long as some, tbf I only ordered it end of jan but was told as it just made the cut off point for that batch of cars it would be delivered beginning of March (as in today) now it's end of March.

Maybe im just not used to buying factory ordered cars and this is normal, because I'm used to being able to going into a dealer, test driving the exact car and driving it away a week or so later :-S

I wouldn't worry lol, I ordered mine Feb 13th 2015, collected 7th October lol. Think their delivery dates are wildly optimistic. Any factory order I'd expect to wait at least 3 months...mine took a tad longer lol

Anyone know how long it took theirs to go from Stage 5a to 5b or did it skip and go to Stage 6?

Been 10 days on 5a (left the factory), just though it would have been loaded on a vessel by now but still the same.

Does kind of suck though. I stupidly stripped my old car down so i could sell it for parts begining of last month. Public transport is painful lol

I'm still on 5a. Rang the dealer today and it's still not left Germany. All GTI's are built in Germany. But I was was confused because he rang me on Monday saying it was about to be released so I've been tracking vessels from Emden and it's not even left yet. Hoping that it's on the next trip to Grimsby on the Ems Highway.

So that said I think the tracker should update still to 5b once it's on the boat
