For example, 088B and 088D do support xenon yes. But with the 088B, you also need an external gateway.

it's the same in all Polo 6R. module connects to powertrain CAN, module connects to sensor at the rear axle, module connects to the headlights and module connects to the ACC and GND

it is not very much work extra, if you are installing OEM xenon with OEM wiring diagram.
the difficult part is, the wires from the module to the headlights. But you are doing that anyway for the headlights to BCM.
so the extra effort is not so big.
