Hi all,
Apologies if this has been covered already but I was having no luck when searching through old posts.
I'm looking at lowering my new polo GTI as having previously owned a lupo GTI that was pretty slammed this now feels like a monster truck. I don't want to commit to investing in a decent set of Coilovers just set so I was wondering what lowering springs are available? Id be looking for around a 40mm drop. I can only seem to find the ST suspension 25mm springs but it could just be me not looking in the right places
Cheers

I think h&r do some in a 40mm drop. Try Awesome GTI, from what I understand they are the same as the 6r springs.

I have a standard 6r 2013 model. I fitted it with H&R springs 35mm front / 55mm back.
It looks alot better now then it did.

I've put h&r 25/40 springs on my bluegt, spaced around 10-12mm each corner, not slammed but looks pretty smart & oem i reckon

I've bought the low version of h&r springs that are being fitted this week. I'm gonna let them settle and fit some spacers. There is a really low gti on coilovers down here and it's a tad too low for my liking as I still like to push my car on

To be fair, your photo is hard to judge as you have cut parts of the car out. Stand back a bit and take a full image.
Gti doesn't get the 35/55 option.

You can fit the 35/55 springs on the GTI, but I wouldn't advise it.
The GTI is already lower than other Polo's, so the 25/40s would be about right.
Eibach do a similar kit that I had fitted to my old GTI, slightly less drop than the H&Rs, but I didn't want anything too low.
Don't forget an alignment afterwards too, and re-aim the headlights.

Headlights should re aim themselves surely
