6c GTI iPhone Mount?

Post by Pavel »

I was looking at getting a Popsocket and the car mount thing but I can't see where I would find space to actually mount it on the dash.

Can anyone recommend a good one and let me know where they have it mounted? I'm looking to avoid any that attach to the windscreen if possible.

Take a look at this http://www.kenu.com/#/products/airframe

I've got one in my car and have mounted it to the centre air vent.

Is it secure? Seems like it would wobble about attached to the vents?

Same for me, I love it. The only issue is that you should turn the vent you have it attached to off so it doesn't damage your phone, and it will pull the vent down, but it wont damage it. I only have the Kenu cause I have a small phone, but they do the Kenu+ for bigger phones.

In the summer though cold air from the A/C would probably be quite good on a hot phone running a GPS app! I had an HTC Desire years ago that would overheat and shut down when being used as Satnav.

I just ordered an Airframe+ too. In black pebbled leather, lol.

Mine came yesterday. Wasn't convinced it would be very secure but it works really well.

Hi. How have you found the Airframe. Normally use Brodits but want something that can hold my phone horizontally for SatNav duties
