Had the car since November. I'll check the software version tomorrow and let you know.bru wrote:That's interesting, how long have you had the car. Wondering if it's a software issue. Are you able to find out what version of the software you've got.

You go onto Menu - Setup - System InformationFox1429 wrote:How do you find out what version of the soft wear it is?
Mine looks like this:
Hardware : H24
Software : 0245
Media Codec : 2101.0.0.10
I asked at my dealer and they said they'd plug it in and see if there was an update. They didn't know if there was a known fault with playing iPods/phones
It's in next week so I'll see what happens.

Re: Issues with iPhone in new GTI
I stream my music from the iPhone to the Composition Media through Bluetooth, and the split second jumping occurs every time I drive the car but once. Sometimes after 1-2 minutes of driving, sometimes 10-15 but always only once, unless I leave the car for a really long time/drive the next day. Maybe it's an iPhone issue rather than a infotainment issue

If it's working fine by Bluetooth, but you want to charge it in the car, wouldn't one of those cheap USB chargers for the 12v socket be an option?
Re: Issues with iPhone in new GTI
Had my car in the dealers today. They've confirmed my unit isn't functioning as it should and the software needs updating. They've had to order an SD card in for it to be done which doesn't arrive for a few days.
The Polo courtesy car I had was brand new and that worked fine, so presumably it can be fixed.
