Random one... with the infotainment system, is the GTI logo meant to come up every time you switch it on? On mine it only comes up very very rarely. Went out in a Passat the other day and the blue motion logo came up every single time the system came on. Thanks.

Well to echo a few others' comments recently, my update this morning skipped Stage 4 altogether and jumped to showing 'In transit'!

Mine seems to be a random event too.
Think there are some gremlins in the electrics!
My stop start system occasional fails to work stating 'engine must be running' when it quite clearly is!
Can't be bothered to book it in for these issues will prob mention them come first service.

5 doors
DSG
Discover Nav - hoping this comes with the Car-Net traffic stuff but i'm not 100% sure?
Cruise and Park pack
Serron Wheels
Climate air con
Mine is scheduled to be built w/c 25th, mines a 3dr manual. It will be interesting to see what the difference in lead time is between 5 and 3 doors cars and DSG and manual cars.

What is the current lead time your dealer is giving you? Mines 30th June but i think it will be here sooner.

I'm just hoping mine gets here before the Goodwood Festival of Speed so I can put it through its paces and see if I can manage to keep up with my dad in his Cupra 280 on the A27 drive down there! :D
I'm totally confused now... I got a text this morning saying the car has left the factory... The day before it was due to be built lol. It's on stage 5a and says expect it to take 4 weeks from now to get to the dealer .

Goodyear F1 Asymmetrical 3's. The GSD3's sound similar but are not as good.

Mine was built a few days before the scheduled build date start, I guess they can get ahead of schedule but guess sometimes they can be slower

Glad it's not just me then. I reckon I have seen it less than 10% of the time I switch the radio / nav on.

No such luck for me, but I finally received the e-mail and txt from VW saying my car has left the factory and should be with the dealer within 4 weeks. Not bad going considering I ordered the car on the 19th March

I'm sure mine does it every time - probably the only thing I haven't had a problem with ... yet Image

Hi all

2016 Polo GTI , Deep Black Pearl 5 door... Has anyone experienced a lumpy acceleration through 4.5k RPM? Almost like a second boost but very noticeable and not at all smooth?

Happens everytime. Have tried to get my hands on a power curve graph to see if power/torque increases around this RPM but can't find one...

Help before I call VW :)

Thanks

I certainly feel some 'flat spots' at low speeds before the engine has warmed up and once or twice (I haven't really open her up fully as I've only done 300 miles so far) there has been a 'hesitance'/lag when I've put my foot down.

I've prob not done enough miles to notice any pattern though.

Finally pick the car up today :D Handover was done at the detailer so everything was perfect and the dealership were great about it. Loving the drive home and because of traffic averaged over 40 mpg, I will have to do something about that, way too high

Really impressed with the app connect, it connected to my iphone straight away and could play music and the apple maps navigation works great, perfect for me as I don't use sat nav all the time, only occasionally.

The cquartz coating on the paint, wheels and trims look superb and the quality and time taken in their work shows. I can't fault Shrewsbury Volkswagen, they kept me up to date with its progress and kept in communication with the detailer for the whole time.

Picture of it in the dry as the weather has been pretty crap so far today. Hoping to get a few more miles on it over the weekend.
